Please read before filing

How warranty claims work

As an independent dealer, Lincoln County Buildings is not involved in filing or processing warranty claims directly. All claims must be filed through the manufacturer, Old Hickory Buildings & Sheds — not through our local dealership. Here's how to file one:

    Fill out the claim form completely

    Provide your full order and contact information so the manufacturer can locate your building's records.

  2. 2

    Include photos of the repair area

    Both inside and outside photos are required for any leak-related claims.

  3. 3

    Submit your claim online or by mail

    Use the manufacturer's online warranty form, or mail your completed claim to Old Hickory Buildings & Sheds.

  4. 4

    Allow 2–4 weeks for processing

    The manufacturer will review your claim and reach out with next steps or a resolution.

  5. 5

    Report certain issues within 7 days of delivery

    Broken windows, broken locks, or appearance-related claims must be reported within 7 days of delivery — claims filed after that window will not be accepted.

  • 5-Year limited warranty on the building
  • Limited Lifetime Warranty against termite damage & fungal decay on pressure-treated wood (skids, floor joists, PT flooring, PT T1-11 siding)
  • 30-year Limited Material Warranty on metal roofing/siding against rust-through
  • 50-year manufacturer's warranty on LP SmartSide siding
  • 30-year limited warranty on architectural shingle roofing

Previously-owned buildings are exempt from warranty coverage.

Where can I purchase replacement keys or locks?

Call Old Hickory's manufacturer customer service line at (615) 890-8075. Replacement keys are $10 plus tax.

How do I cancel an order?

Contact us as soon as possible at (775) 962-1302 — cancellation fees may apply depending on order status.
